Well My real name is Kate Batts,otherwise knowen as "The Bell Witch" It started in the 1800's when a man John Bell and his family moved from N.C to Adams TN and he bought some land from me,than bought more,and cheated me on the deal.I swore till my dying day I will seek revenge on him on his family for what he did.Well a few years later I did die,and the hauntings began.I started out with loud knockings and bangings on the wall.I would take their bedding off of them while they slept.I began to whisper,and sing.Not long after that I took a likeing to 12 year old Betsy,I did the same to her as I did to John and his 2 sons.I would kick her,pinch her,scractch her pull her hair,and stick pins in her.I did this every night.One day Johns friend Andrew Jackson heard about the hauntings and decided to come to the house and see me.Well on his way over,I made the wheels on his stage coach lock up so he couldn't move,boy was he pissed.I did release them,and told him he can go.When he got to the Bell's home.I did make the furnture move around,and banged on the walls for him to see.Anyway a few years later,little Betsy fell in love with her long time friend Joshua Gaurdner.That pissed me off,so I would follow her around everywhere she went to stop them from getting married.She did soon call it off,hahahahah and ended up getting married to some school teacher Richard Powell.I didn't care bout him.Anyway I soon realized it was time to make John get sick to the point where he can't get out of bed,and one day I poisned his medicine,so when he took it,he dropped dead real fast.I didn't leave after that.I still hung around,and said I would be back in 7 years which I did come back.I predicted the civil war and the world wars as well of the next century.I did say I would come back in 107 years which would be the year 1935,but that year went without an incident.I still live in this cave,and if you dare to come in and visit me,if you are very quiet,you just may hear me singing and laughing still.Take the quiz:
