About Me

There's something more raw, and more direct…brutal, even …about acoustics guitars. Team Salt embrace that principle and then go a bit crazy. Songs are edgy then anthemic; massive then fragile. Dark yet comforting. Juxtaposed harmonies and pounding drums. Fleetwood Mac meets Smashing Pumpkins. On acid.

(happy acid)

"Five proper human beings that practically ooze their love for what they do with every perfect note." (Is This Music?)

"Music with shocking intelligence and integrity...acoustic songs with enough sparkle to leave your mouth watering" (Brazen Magazine)

"Personal lyrics hide under melancholic guitars, talking beautifully of frustrated love and an agoraphobic sense of guilt" (T-Break)

"These acoustic lovelies show that there's more to the genre than just Damien Rice" (Starry Nights Music)

"The mighty, mighty Team Salt: Glasgows premier acoustic rock band" (Mark Hunter - www.thetartanpodcast.com)
