Anxiously awaiting... The Poughkeepsie Tapes
My Interests I really need some discipline, self and otherwise...My interests are many and diverse, mostly having to do with music, art, poetry, books, writing, culinary arts/cooking, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the triumvirate: sex, drugs, and rock & roll... You really can't teach an old bird new tricks--in fact, you can't teach most birds any tricks at all (excepting, possibly, mynah birds and parrots--but I don't even believe in birds).I am passionate about many things, but I kneel before a chocolate altar and give praise to my DARK MASTER it just feels soooo good. Dopamine and cocoa beans, baby. Sweet
BTW: chocolate and high heels: two great fetishes that go great together...
I couldn't say until I have, at which point, typically, I wish I hadn't. In general, I enjoy people--a lot... really I do. The paradox here is that I also think most people suck. Maybe the contradiction lies somewhere in my monkeyness...
No, I hate everything... Not really, der. A million bands in addition to these... my space (heh--i know i'm sooo clever) is limited. I add as I think... aerosmith, journey, the rolling stones, def leppard, led zeppelin, heart, styx, mother love bone, danzig, the scabs, bob schneider, john mayer, stevie ray vaughn, eric clapton, lenny kravitz, social distortion, 311, the doors, queen, anything with chris cornell singing, motley crue, incubus, foo fighters, jet, stone temple pilots, buckcherry, the cult, sublime, velvet revolver rachmaninoff, chopin. Anything in minor keys... Electicism = Neuroticism (at least when it comes to me).
Tops... was gonna do ten, but can't: The Princess Bride ("You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.") The Holy Grail. Young Frankenstein. A Clockwork Orange. The Outsiders. Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Raising Arizona. Edward Scissorhands. Spinal Tap. Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Wizard of Oz.Once Were Warriors. Leaving Las Vegas. True Romance. The Doors. Superman. Star Wars. Somewhere in Time. 9 1/2 Weeks. Secretary--softcore sadomasochism at its best. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.img src="http://fy.chalmers.se/~number44/obrazki04/general/secre tary-173x300.jpg"
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Gordon Ramsay: Hell's Kitchen/Kitchen NightmaresLost--Sawyer is mmmm, mmmm, goodHeroes: Save the cheerleader, save the world.
Where I learned to love books and reading... Grinnell Library, Wappingers Falls, NY Too numerous and diverse to count; I have a BA and an MA in English Lit. Suffice it to say, I like to read.Fave book of all time: A Prayer for Owen Meany.Fave protraction: Love in the Time of CholeraFave bastardization: Wicked.Fave series: The Vampire Chronicles.Fave memoir: The Tender Bar (J.R. Moehringer)
Do they still exist in "real life"? I don't believe actual people behave extraodinarily as a rule--outrageously yes, extraordinarily not so much...But, if you count superheroes, I'd have to go with Superman, Batman, and Spiderman--in that order. And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the way coolness of Wonder Woman and her sexy boots.
