PARABOLA

The only place where spiritual traditions truly meet!

About Me

Four times a year for over thirty years PARABOLA has been the only publication committed to an authentic dialogue between the world's spiritual traditions. Writers, thinkers, and luminaries as diverse as Robert Aitken, Ibn' al-Arabi, Sri Aurobindo, Wendell Berry, Annie Bessant, Black Elk, Paul Bowles, Peter Brook, Joseph Campbell, Henry Corbin, HH the Dalai Lama, Meister Ekhart, Mircea Eliade, Georg Feuerstein, G.I. Gurdjieff, Kabir Helminski, HRH Prince of Wales, Franz Kafka, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Ursula K. Le Guin, Martin Lings, John Daido Loori, Thomas Merton, Mary Oliver, Frithjof Schuon, Gertrude Stein, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, P.L. Travers, and Ken Wilber have all graced the pages of PARABOLA.
From Sufis to Buddhists, from Christians to Muslims, from Jews to Hindus, from Sikhs to sadhus, all nooks of the infinite crannies of spirituality have found their way into PARABOLA . From academic scholars of religion to esoteric investigators of the occult, no stone is left unturned as we solicit writings from the world's leading minds in order to bridge the gap between the known and the yet to be realized.
