Loss Of Humanity was formed in spring 2003. line up was Saku vocals, Jaakko drums, Joel bass and Tero & Samu on guitars. The idea of the band was to play heavy, hardcore/metal/deathmetal music, but at the same time to bring something new and fresh to the Lappeenranta scene. Bands like Shed, Arkangel, Earth Crisis (just to mention a few) gave the band the inspiration and motivation to do things a bit differently than many other local bands. So, a few months and a couple of songs later the band finally started to find it's own sound(more melodic, metal influenced but still brutal). In fall 2003 LOH got a new rehearsal place: Monari. More songs were created and almost six months later it was time to perform the first gig. People liked the show and in a short period of time LOH performed several other gigs. In summer 2005 the first demo was released(Recorded in monari by Pekka The Pain) and LOH did even more gigs in Lappeenranta and in a few other finnish cities. Early 2006 the band's bass player was changed from Joel to Mikko. From that day things changed and the future was clearer than ever: stage performance and new songs got more aggressive and energetic and more diversity was brought in to them. Also another rehearsal place change from Monari to "Rottala" (local hardcore band Another One Dead's crib) gave LOH much better circumstances and the final boost to create new heavy shit. In the beginning of 2007 LOH started to record their first mini-cd which should be out in spring 2007.
