I RADIO BABYLON nascono nel 1997 e subito inizia una lunga serie di serate che li portera' a suonare in tutta Italia e sperimentare "sul campo" il loro SKA-REGGAE in un mix unico di divertimento e impegno. Il tutto si concretizza nel 2002 registrando "BUSKA", il loro primo disco, co-prodotto e distribuito da Artenomade, che contiene AMEDEO, pezzo che verra' accolto in varie compilations. Da qui si moltiplicano collaborazioni e apparizioni (M.E.I. di Faenza 2004 e 2006, Rototom Sunsplash Festival di Osoppo 2005, finale del concorso "primomaggiotuttolanno") , fino alla vittoria di Arezzo Wave 2005, che li porta a suonare sul Main Stage dello stadio di Arezzo. Intanto preparano e sperimentano dal vivo il loro secondo lavoro in studio che vede le collaborazioni eccellenti di ROY PACI (Manu Chao / Aretuska / Mau Mau ecc.) che tra l'altro canta integralmente "IN OGNI COSA", FREAK ANTONI (Skiantos) ospite in "JOSE' RESISTERA'" e ROBERTO PIERMARTIRE (Ladri di biciclette / Avion Travel) e che contiene il pezzo "PUNTO COM", mandato in onda da Fiorello nel suo Viva Radio 2 - mixaggio di Josh Sanfelici (Mau Mau / Aretuska ecc.). Their shocking and clever alchemy of frenzy, crazy rythms, entartainment, along with serious political and social involvement increase more and more the fame of the band and the success through the years. In 2002 Radio Babylon is out with their debut album "BUSKA", co-produced and distributed by Artenomade, containing the single "AMEDEO", the "glorious" track appearing in several SKA & other stuff compilations. Since the realize of the first work the band features several considerable national events and musical projects (M.E.I., Faenza 2004 and 2006 Editions, ROTOTOM SUNSPLASH FESTIVAL, Osoppo 2005, "PRIMOMAGGIOTUTTOLANNO", Rome final contests) then comes the victory and the conquer of the main stage exhibition at the prestigious AREZZO WAVE LOVE FESTIVAL 2005. Meanwhile the band's been checking on gigs their second work for a year before realizing the song tracks in the studio The new album is featuring excellent performances by famous artists such as ROY PACI (Manu Chao/Aretuska/Mau Mau &tc...) - trumpet on half of the tracks, lead vocals "In Ogni Cosa" - and the singer/poet/actor FREAK ANTONI (Skiantos) - vocals and drama in the track "Josè resisterà " - finally, we have ROBERTO PIERMARTIRE (Ladri di biciclette/Aviontravel), trumpet on the track "Prega per l'ombra".
