The seeds were planted back in 97-98 by VALENTIN with constant rotating members. A finalized line up emerged around 2000 after a brief hiatus which included VAL (Bass, Vocals,) CHRIS (Guitar) PAUL (Drums). Much time was spent in the studio working and writing songs for what would be there first E.P. With lots of material that had been written over a two year period the band narrowed it down to only 8 tracks. With an E.P finally recorded they went on to play a string of shows trying to make a name for themselves. Being received well, both live and on indie radio stations in the states and all across Europe the band decided to start work on what would be there first official full length album. In 2005 while in the middle of writing new material, internal conflicts and musical differences that had been emerging over the past few years left everything on hold. Valentin who had been the key contributing song writer decided to leave the band and pursue other musical interests. The remaining two members went on to work on other projects as well. The bands demise came sudden but also at the right time. Virgin Mary Suicide accomplished more than what they had originally set out to do for themselves and thats more than most bands can say.
