I'm a self proclaimed lover of life and a man who is always ready to rock steady.

I do not take myself seriously so I seriously recommend that you do not either...

I am doing the best I can at making the most out of this life, right now, while focused on living this honorable and noble life, I am also very concentrated on living with joy and laughter at the forefront of my being.

There are few things I am not interested in. Primarily I enjoy absorbing knowledge from any and every medium available to me. Reading, writing, music, and conversation I find quite interesting...

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is not in a big damn hurry to get nowhere in particular. Also the people who chew their food properly and honor their breath.

Music:

You name it, I dig it.

Movies:

PeeWee's Big Adventure, The Never Ending Story, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Office Space, Dumb and Dumber, Shawshank Redemption, What the Bleep do we Know?, Run Lola Run, Sin City, Old School, Anything with Bill Murray in it, and well any moving picture that doesn't suck. Seriously though, I am all over the place when it comes to movies.

Television:

I watch television when I'm not doing other stuff, I don't watch much television.

Books:

Any Tom Robbins, Isaac Asimov, Gary Jennings, Joseph Campbell, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Lewis Carroll, Rafael Sabatini, and any of the late great Dr. Seuss's books. Other than that, Finnegans Wake, Conversations with God, Cosmos, Great Expectations, Walden, Then and Now, and Brave New World are some books I have had the pleasure of reading. Like with music and with movies I am all over the place with my reading. I have what some would call a very eclectic array of books that I enjoy and would recommend. I feel compelled to add that reading is one of my favorite things to do.
Recent reads:
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho,
The Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight - James Redfield,
All the Gregory Maguire books,
Kepler - John Banville,
Half Asleep In Frog Pajama's and Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates (both for the 2nd time) - Tom Robbins,
Einstien, A life - Denis Brian
Walden Two - B.F. Skinner,
Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand (one of the most prolific works I've read in a long time)
The Law of One: Book 1 "The Ra Material" - Ra (A humble messenger of the law of one)
Prelude to Foundation - Isaac Asimov (a prequel to the legendary Foundation Trilogy which actually ended up becoming a 6 book series I have already read once and am starting over again (because it is so amazingly good and if you are at all interested in the speculation of a galactic society and the furtherance of humanity beyond this one world I would highly suggest reading these...))
Beginners Luke - Sol Luckman (this is very entertaining)
Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight - Thom Hartman
Catch-22 - Joseph Heller

Heroes:

Anybody out there who puts love, truth, honor, and joy in front of all other virtues and/or ways of living...
