Chael is one of the world’s top middleweight fighters and has competed in some the sport’s most illustrious promotions, including the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Sport Fight, BodogFight and Pancrase. He earned the Viewer’s Choice award in BodogFight when fans selected him as their favorite fighter in an online poll.
Sonnen began wrestling at the age of nine and was an NCAA Division I All American while at the University of Oregon. An outstanding Greco Roman wrestler, he competed in the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials, was a two-time University Nation Champion and was a Junior National runner-up.
A native of West Linn, Ore., Chael graduated from the University of Oregon 2001 with degrees in Sociology and Business. He is an agent with John L. Scott Real Estate and owns the Full Contact Fighting Federation, an amateur MMA promotion. TEAM QUEST WEBSITE
