life to you is a dashing bold adventure

About Me

I play guitar in Mia Hope, go check us out - mia hope
I also am a touring member of Shels, check it out here - *shels
On top of those, I have a side project going which I sing and play guitar in, called So this is Paris. Check that one out here - So this is Paris
I used to play guitar in Eden Maine. I played guitar in the short lived reservations at dorcia but that died out. I once played guitar with Bossk. I almost played guitar for Gallows. I played a bit of guitar on the new Shaped by Fate album (which you should order right now if you haven't done so yet).
As you can tell, I play the guitar(with all that practise, you'd think I'd actually be half decent, but eh...), and music is the main thing in my life.
For the most part, I hate myspace. This is about the 4th or 5th profile I've had, and recently I came close to deleting it again. It's pointless, but addictive.
My job sounds like it would be kinda dull, but I actually really enjoy it.
I'm generally moody and antisocial, but I try hard to hide it.
I was fitness obsessed at the start of this year. I'm now back to being lazy. I need to get the fitness thing going again...
I'm straight edge, which means I don't like to have any fun. XXX

My Interests

playing guitar. Reading books. Watching movies. Listening to music non stop, and feeding my cd addiction. Going to the gym, playing football, playing tennis. Having crushes on people that I will never have.

I'd like to meet:

A girl who can pull off wearing polka dot dresses with aplomb.

Music:

Currently:
Dredg - el cielo
Kanye West - Graduation
Kanye West - The College Dropout
Between the buried and me - colours Every time I die - The Big Dirty
Lush - Lovelife
Interpol - Our love to admire
The National - Boxer
The Ghost of a Thousand - This is where the fight begins
Jamie T - Panic Prevention

Movies:

I love a lot of movies. Anything to do with Gangsters usually does well. Quick list that comes to mind of movies I love:
Scarface, True Romance, Pans Labyrinth, Grease, Fight Club, Godfather Trilogy, LOTR trilogy, The Dark Crystal, Run Lola run, The Departed, Lucky number slevin, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas, Casino, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Anchorman, The Sting.
And any movies which feature the genius work of Ray Harryhausen.
You get the general idea.

Television:

Heroes, 24 (though I kinda lost interest during the last series), Prison Break, The Daily show with Jon Stewart. That's about it currently on tv. US tv is winning the war.
But also, classics include:
Family Guy, Spaced, Alan Partridge, Band of Brothers, Sopranos, The Office, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, Twin Peaks, The Green Wing, probably some others as well. But NOT the Mighty Boosh, but I'm not sure why, because everyone I know says they'd expect me to love it.

Books:

Lots. I've been reading Richard Dawkins, but can't put the book title in here, because it seems to generate lots of unwanted adverts about a mythical being.

Heroes:

No one...yet.

The escape

This corpse has been dead for days, laying in the sun, covered in moths and flies feeding on the remnants of someones dreams. Tired from the never abating rush of blood, let me just rest here a while...

A train of thought, something I wrote a while back

Laying on a bed, drifting in and out of awareness, fleeting moments of clarity, followed by a dull ache, of sorrow, of loss, of missing something that I can't remember if was ever there. Reaching a wa...
