We'd like to start by dedicating this page to Jose "Pepito " Reyes,
Edwin Colon Zayas, Myrna Perez, Augustine Rivera, Nora Ruiz,
Francico "Paco" Marrero, Pedro Guzman and all of the musicians of
Puerto Rico that was present.
It was a pleasure to be invited for the
3rd Congressional International del Tiple Puertorriqueno.
We were able to share in the festivities and workshops which we were treated with kindness and hospitality. The People of Puerto Rico gave us warm welcome during our stay. It was very impressive to see how all of the adults and children participating and continuing the culture and the music in the schools. We've learned a lot of music through inspiration and memories of Puerto Rico. The Tiple is a beautiful instrument which we bought back home to Hawaii. Also built 2 Tiples made out of (Koa Wood) from Hawaii and (Jarumom Wood) from Puerto Rico. We are proud to be able to record the music of Puerto Rico and would like to share the music with all.
