OKSYMORON's GIGS:The birth of the OKSYMORON dates back to the autumn of 2002, when Sergey "Saliatahn" (ANIMI VULTUS) and Olga created their group and called - OKSYMORON.OKSYMORON was created in Saint-Petersburg city, Russia. On 26th of january 2003 the first rehearsal took place and this date was the official birth date of OKSYMORON. The further couple of mounths had been a hard period for the group, but in april the situation had grown better. The OKSYMORON got a permanent drummer and won a new level, much more serious and technical. The music had become much tougher. In summer the bass-guitarist left, but the new one was found is several weeks and a permanent singer appeared. With that stuff the group had recorded it's first demo cd (was recorded on the first OKSYMORON concert, 23'11'2003 in Saint-Petersburg's "Orlandina" club). Their style had changed to melodic death/black metal, and the main rule for the command was - not to determine the certain frames of one style!"We plays the extreme metal, but the way we like it to play. Hold on to acertain style is mean to get bored to ourselves at first! (Saliatahn)". Everything went on just perfectly till february 2004 when the drummer left group. After almost six mounths of unsuccesful search for a new drummer, OKSYMORON decided to work with the electronic drums. The next concert after a long break was played in "Arktica" club, on the BLACK ASTROLOGY (Russian black metal group) birthday party.At the same time, without a drummer, OKSYMORON recorded their second demo cd. On that cd OKSYMORON performed a cover-version of a song "Rivfader" (original version performed by FINNTROLL (Finland)). But, after some concerts, in the end of the 2004, the bass-guitarist was fired and after that the singer and the guitar man decided to leave group with him. So, the group came back to the same stuff they started with... it was a really hard period in OKSYMORON's live!"Anyway, we must keep our group and find a new stuff! This is just a new step in OKSYMORON's live (Saliatahn)". in march 2005, OKSYMORON have begun the recording of their third demo cd with a new stuff. OKSYMORON could finded a talented bass-guitarist, rhytm-guitarist, and unique vocalist - Nikita "Anobius"! It was a new way of groups live! Unfortunately without a drummer.. again."It was a hard period, we was musten to keep OKSYMORON and i think that we're did it! We can finded a new talented guys and change our music, OKSYMORON at now more extreme than early, and more strong. Hope that you're enjoy it! (Saliatahn)". But some times ago a guitarist leaved the group, and than a bass guitarist leave OKSYMORON too. But, anyway and again, a new guys was start playing in OKSYMORON, and the group finded a permanent drummer - Nikolay "Keil" (ex-T.H.O.R.N.S., ex-Pagan Reign).At now... OKSYMORON keep playing concerts and prepare for a studio work!-----------------------------------------
