When the mind is unmoved, this is concentration.
When the mind is not obscured, this is insight."

"I have learned so much from God that I can no longer call myself a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Jew.
The truth has shared so much of itself with me that I can no longer think of myself as a man, a woman, an angel, or even pure soul. Existence has become so saturated with laughter it has freed me of every concept and image a mind could ever war with."

"I wish we were not so single-minded about keeping our lives moving, and for once could do nothing, perhaps a huge silence might interrupt this sadness of never understanding ourselves and of threatening ourselves with death."
- Pablo Neruda
"As long as the many continue to observe the differences of the few, we will never truly be free. As long as the few continue to separate themselves from the many we will never see change. The differences in our beliefs are many, yet beliefs by definition are not based on truth. We as a people separate ourselves from each other to stand for something that we cannot now, nor ever will, be likely to prove. What is it about others not believing what we believe in, that challenges us to the point of fear and subsequent anger and rejection? If there were no religion, no greed, what would we have left to fight?"
- Tim Larson
"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true."
- Soren Kierkegaard
"When one is full of Love and Compassion, one cannot draw a line between two countries, two faiths, or two religions."
- Amma
"Count no day lost in which you waited your turn, took only your share, and sought advantage over no one."
- Robert Brault
"I have no doubt that faith is only pure when it does not negate the faith of another. I have no doubt that evil can be fought and that indifference is no option. I have no doubt that fanaticism is dangerous. And of all the books in the world on life, I have no doubt that the life of one person weighs more than them all."
- Elie Wiesel
"We miss the opportunity to come to terms with our own greed by focusing on that of others."
-Cheri Huber
"If we can hate others for being how they are, and if we can stay busy judging and criticizing, perhaps we can postpone the inevitable awareness that what we detest in others, is what we destest in ourselves."
-Cheri Huber
"Awake. Be the witness of your thoughts. You are what observes, not what you observe."
- Gautama Buddha
"To know that you are a prisoner of your mind, that you live in an imaginary world of your own creation is the dawn of wisdom."

-Cheri Huber
"Live to be in the present. Safety, security, knowing and being right are all synonyms for death."
–Cheri Huber
"None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free."
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
"We consider that we have beliefs, but in fact, it is the beliefs which have us."
-Cheri Huber
"When it comes to understanding human behavior, exceptions are the rule, and acceptance is the key."
-J.S
"It is easier to fight for one's principles than to live up to them."
-Alfred Adler
"The easiest kind of relationship is with ten thousand people, the hardest is with one."
-Joan Baez
"Sometime in your life, hope that you might see one starved man, the look on his face when the bread finally arrives. Hope that you might have baked it or bought or even kneaded it yourself. For that look on his face, for your meeting his eyes across a piece of bread, you might be willing to lose a lot, or suffer a lot, or die a little, even."
-Daniel Berrigan, SJ
"Not out of right practice comes right thinking, but out of right thinking comes right practice. It matters enormously what you think. If you think falsely, you will act mistakenly; if you think basely, your conduct will suit your thinking."

Song: "En el Muelle de San Blas"
Lyrics:
Sola
Sola en el olvido.
Sola.
Sola con su espiritu.
Sola.
Sola con su amor el mar.
Solaaaaaaaa,
en el muelle de San Blas
Sola, en el olvido;
Sola, con su espiritu;
Sola, con su amor el mar;
Sola.
Sola en el olvido.
Sola.
Sola con su espiritu.
Sola.
Sola con su amor el mar.
Solaaaaaaaa,
en el muelle de San Blas.
Se quedo!
Se quedo!
Sola, sola.
Se quedo!
Se quedo--
con el sol y con el mar.
Se quedo hai!
Se quedo hasta el fin!
Se quedo hai!
Se quedo, en el muelle de San Blas.
Sola, sola, se quedo.

"The Audacity of Hope", by Barack Obama
The full "Yes, We Can" Speech made by Barack Obama in New Hampshire on January 08, 2008
..
Most people say "No" to life, they resist life as it is, and as a result, fail to see the opportunities that abound.
Barack Obama says "Yes, we Can."
Yes we can change the politics of this country, but the people must stand up, and be sure not to lose their seats.
He is a Visionary and a Leader. He also represents the majority of the World as he is a Black man. In America we are so deluded that we actually think that people of color are the "Minority" in this world.
Well, wake up. People of Caucasian roots are the MINORITY when it comes to the entirety of the humanity that inhabits our Earth.
SO, I ask--Will the MAJORITY please stand up and execute your inalienable rights. This country needs to heal itself.
love.
My husband.
