What is there to say? Do you want the stats or the personal stuff?
I was born on a cool and humid night in June. It was storming out, but I was charging through...... Too much information? Ah, sorry.
OK well....I'm a bit of an eclectic sort. I've been writing successfully for many years and have recently become a muralist. I used to do professional musical theatre, then BOOM! I became completely deaf (I was born with only one ear) and had to find other ways to release my creativity. Drawing, writing, and painting have helped me through some rough times.
My mural website is at www.michelesmuralmagic.com
So......Now I do murals and have a business, but I also teach American Sign Language classes in my home.
I can't read lips to save my life. Couldn't lipread myself in the mirror even if I knew what I was going to say. I use Sign and, if you can't, then you have to be willing to write or bring a laptop and type to me. Aren't I just a heap of trouble?
In the Land of Mispronunciations...
"No, you deaf old goat. I said show me your PASS!"
I'm kind of shy in person until you get to know me.
That is, unless I have enough alcohol in my system to bypass that stage. Don't have many in-person friends. I struggle with social phobia (which is the least of my problems).
But I am still hoping to meet some people through this network.
Take my advice....never try to lick a glacier....
