Originally from Western Massachussetts, Doc has been writing since 1989 and making beats since 1993. Doc teamed up with Jimmy Fontaine and Apoko in 1993 to form his first rap group called "Forgotten Soulz". In 1997 he moved to California and met Cutty Dre, a very talented Bay Area beatmaker. In 2004, Doc, Fontaine and Cutty Dre found themselves in Portland, OR comprising half of the new group "Fabulous Saturdays." The other three members are V!RTU and Madd Hadda of "Theurgy" and Anderson Ray of "V.E.R.A. Clique."
