EVERGLADE first came up with the idea at the winter 2002. The creators and only members were Maria and Minas, who decided to record in the studio their ideas, proposed not to forget them. CALENDAR was recorded during the 5th october and the 12th december at NiR studio, Hermoupolis Syros Gr. Maria played the bass guitar and the keybords and Minas played the guitars and drums. NiR studios, the only one in the small island of syros couldn't give a better result of music production so their ideas got lost...lifeless behind the noise. CALENDAR was pupliced at the greek metal hammer no 232 with the gratulation 5/10. The criticism was objective, the criticals view was that the music production made the demo tiresome...troublesome but you could understand behind all that noise there were very good ideas.As the time was passing by, EVERGLADE felt they wanted to play their songs with complete line-up, so they could play their favourite instrument each one. They started searching for a guitarist and the preferable to was Konstantinos. They were searching for friends musicians that they could feel comfortable to share their feelings and ideas, Konstantinos was a friend and his adjustment was very quick.Day by day they were making songs, playing music and having a good time together all three.They started searching for a drummer so they have been preparing with friends drummers ...When their friend Stelios came to play with them they finally found their own drummer! Katerina joined the band to, as Antony did at last.LUMINARY was recorded during the 21st October at NiR studio, Hermoupolis, Syros, Gr. This time they produced their demo on their own, as they engineered and mixed it with their friend Alexis Roussos.15/09/04: Konstantinos has left for studies in England06/01/05: Everglades first performing live at a friend's place.01/02/05: Minas has left to join the army.07/07/05: Everglade performed in a party at konstantinos' place.07/08/05: Antony left the band for the fact that Everglade decided to continue playing more melodic and not use brutal vocals any more. .....Futhermore Katerina left the band.08/09/05: LUMINARY was pupliced at the greek metal hammer no 249 with the gratulation 5,5 / 10. This time the criticism was not that objective, the criticals view was focus only to the production , not to the basic theme... the ideas of the music.31/10/05: MInas finished with the army.01/02/06: Rock Hard magazine gr.: From the capital of cyclades islands, Syros, we have the six membered band EVERGLADE with LUMINARY to be their second Demo. Recorded in the one and only studio in Syros having production which unfortunatelly didn't compliment their music. The will of the band is shown clearly and in my opinion after a period of time, gaining experience and with a better production they will prove their abilities. All the drum parts recorded at Unreal Studios( http://www.myspace.com/unrealstudio),in Athens and they are completed with a very healthy sound this time.Next level is to reach the best guitars and bass recordings witch we are into at this season.10/02/08:Kon has finished his guitar parts succesfully.Maria is in the middle of the bass parts recordings.
