GO APE! JANUARY 2005 - MAY 2007Go Ape! was a live music and club night running on alternate Thursdays at Bath's Moles club. It ran from January 2005 - May 2007. After around 2 and half years, Go Ape's promoter Gareth Jones decided to take a break.The final Go Ape night was held on Thursday 24th May '07 starring comedy legend Frank Sidebottom, plus music from Steveless and 28 Costumes.
Past Go Ape performers have included Klaxons, Forward Russia, Chalets, Help She Can't Swim, Metronomy, Rifles, Milburn, Victorian English Gentlemen's Club, Silver Sun, Brave Captain (Martin Carr, ex-Boo Radleys), Hot Puppies, 586, Draytones, Tigerpicks plus countless other weird, wonderful, cool and quirky bands from around the world.Go Ape may return in some form at a differant venue sometime in the Autumn, either as a regular night or just occasional gigs.
