Marshell Melona Hylton was born in the Parish of Manchester on August 10, 1986. The school she attended were Grove Place Basic School, Coley Mountain All Age School, New Green Primary and Juior High School and Bishop Gibson High where she acquired hr general studies. Jovial kind-hearted and sweet are only a few important factors that is portrayed by this person. Having a spectacular appearance is another component to add to this wonderful person. Coupled with her great personality, Marshell possesses an exceptional talent for song writing and her superior vocal attributes are undeniable. Many will agree that Marshell is poised to capture the hearts and souls of reggae fans in the universe. She tries her best to send a message that will be instilled in their minds. Marshell Gods’-given talent was known to her family and friends at age six. The fact that I was so tiny; I couldn’t be seen behind the podium. They would put me on a chair to sing. I would sing with other Sunday class members or sing solo pieces, because I was never a shy person.†She pointed out. As Marshell grew older she became a member of her church’s youth choir and school choir. She became independent of her peers when she started to perform at various sessions in and around her community in Manchester. Still being a teenager, she also sung at funerals, weddings and many school functions. Many times she would be invited to friends’ birthday party to sing. Marshell began professional music when she did background vocals for a number of artistes. In search for further exposure, she teamed up with two talented young ladies to form the group ‘Black Goddesses’. Due to reasons beyond their control they parted, and it members embarked on solo paths. Marshell has worked with various producers for the past few years, and is still working on the elusive break way hit. Inspired many artistes, she think she has the ability to do music in different genre. In her spear time she enjoys writing, reading and hanging out with her friends.
