Walk The Rio features members from former bands Cinder Red, Capulet, and Sweet Amerige. Artists have previously gained such accomplishments as: Best Hard Rock Group Nomination (OC Music Awards), Best Indie Rock Group Nomination (IE Music Awards), label artist (FSH/Universal), licensing deals and music placement (MTV, Warped), and local radio play. The band was put together through mutual friendships and an opportunity to play great songs.
The band draws from their past influences and experiences to create a new breed of music catered for success. Face it, the music industry is ruthless; hard-work, perseverance, networking, and good songs are the only way to seize the opportunity to achieve the dream to play music for a living. From this idea, Walk The Rio focuses on writing good songs by creating hooks, energy, and focusing on playing as many shows as possible. We are here for the journey and the music, not the scene.
