Born in Toronto, Canada, KAMA spent much of his youth in both his native land of Trinidad as well as in Toronto, more specifically, the west side: Oakwood & Vaughan, Jane & Finch, Rexdale and Jungle. He also spent a small portion of his life in the south-western parts of London, England: Brixton, Battersea Park, and Balham. By living in the hood, KAMA has adapted to the name of a natural born hustler. His deep insight into life on the streets elevated his overall understanding of life and the general struggle. During the early and tumultuous stages of his life, KAMA found substance and meaning in hip hop. He does not only consider hip hip to be a form of art, but a business and a culture that is a part of his life. For KAMA, hip hop is life and life is hip hop. Therefore, one may simply describe what he does as living.
When originally submerged into the world of hip hop and writing several songs without any contacts, KAMA transformed into a lyrical chemist while taking time to learn about the industry. Now delivering lyrics with a creative style has become second nature. KAMA began increasing his number of contacts by exhibiting his capabilities in shows and battles. Almost as a timely precursor to his destined success, his son was brought into this world. The birth of his son culminated into an actualization, inking thoughts of inspiration, determination and purpose together into one totality. While the dawning of the new millennium, KAMA established his own corporation, all the while emitting his natural entrepreneurial expertise. Presently, EZAKIMAK INCORPORATED has created subsidiaries specifically for entertainment-related activities known as EZ-MAK Records & Entertainment and EZ-MAK FILMS. From his own label, KAMA has prevailed against the inevitable rigours that one faces as an independent artist. His transcendent efforts were first publicized with the release of his first single "TODAY". The video aired on Much Music and Much Vibe. Furthermore, EZ-MAK.com is currently under reconstruction for the presentation of the debut album and will feature a full merchandising line, all new music releases, videos, films and documentaries. In regards to his music, his single "KAMILLION" aroused a stream of excitement when it was placed on either a medium or heavy rotation on all urban commercial radio stations across Canada in late 2002. In 2003, a flood of projects followed for this ever so versatile individual. Amidst of all the excitement and much figured disarray, KAMA had managed to star in a documentary directed by critically acclaimed director David Cropper, in his debut film dubbed, "What it Takes". This film was part of the 2003 Reel World Canadian Film Festival and star icons such as Russell Simmons, P. Diddy, G-Dep, and the legendary Doug E. Fresh. His next single "MESSIN' WIT ME" and INDEPENDENCE DAY" were released in the Fall of 2003 and featured a double video that hit Much Vibe and MTV2 in November 2003. One song in detail, "KAMA'S WORLD" featuring hip hop pioneer Doug E. Fresh has become the greatest commercial hit for KAMA across Canada. This track has been added to Flow 93.5's Urban Flow Case Collection: Voluime 4. The corresponding reality video is set to be released summer 2006. The highly anticipated debut album "INDEPENDENCE DAY" and DVD "THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY: CHAPTER 1" are both complete. KAMA'S next project and greatest written work to date, "BALANCE" is currently going into production. While performing the tasks of an artist and handling the business aspect of the music industry, the abilities of this young man are difficult to ignore. As some individuals are gifted at being an artist, others excel in the business world. However, that indefinite line that separates these individuals becomes obsolete as KAMA AKA KAMIKAZE boldly handles both positions. "I am the only real CEO, baller/entertainer, number one unsigned rap artist from Toronto, Canada aka Lord ada Bling...period." The debut album is highly anticipated and when it hits the streeet, you'll know. 911 KAMA'S coming.KAMA EPK
