mu·sic (noun); an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.
aUDio magazine was brought to life in the fall semester of 2007 by a group of music junkies at the University of Delaware. Reacting to the lack of a forum to express our profound musical interests, we formed aUDio to create an outlet which allowed us to.
After searching campus to find others who shared our passion for music, journalism, art, the interweb, and the like, what we came up with is this - a website devoted to articles, show reviews, album reviews - anything related to music that our writers want to put out there.
Looking for a new album to pick up, but want see what other students thought of it? Missed your favorite band the last time they came through the area but want to hear how the show went? Then check out aUDio... a music magazine made by the students - for the students... and anyone else looking for a good read.
aUDio covers the gamut of musical tastes, and thus our staff is comprised of a wide range of personalities. Due to our decision to go green and avoid the wasteful practices of print production, we also feature a host of green articles devoted to the environment.
aUDio is always looking for new ideas and creative minds to join our staff, so if you are a lover of music or simply love to write, get in touch!
