I truly believe music is a way of helping us feel what we feel and accentuate those feelings. It is incredible to think that so many people on this earth are sitting at home listening to a song; smiling, crying, feeling angry, all different emotions. We are so alike in what feel and that is why music gives me a sense of safeness and understanding. I was sitting on the bus the other day listening to sparks by Coldplay and watching all the faces around me. It was just like the music brought life to each face. Suddenly the person sitting in front of me had a life, a mission; a purpose.I was 6 years old when my mother put me on violin classes. That’s when it all started. I and my best friend started writing music together and soon we both started music school. I knew all along that I wanted to keep on with the music education, so after graduating junior high school I applied to the music high school, Carlfosska, in Västerås. It was an interesting but not always easy period of my life but it was here I found my voice thanks to my great song coach. This is also where I found my passion for jazz although it is not the music I do today. I graduated a sunny day in June 2004. After summer break I started at Sjöviks Folkhögskola where I got to learn more about jazz and improvisation, theory and so on. Moreover, I didn’t feel like going on with music education after Sjövik, and started working instead at a boutique in my hometown Västerås. This is when I got in contact with patformmusic, which is an independent label with a lot of great personalities and creative minds. I was happy to see that maybe I could do what I really live for; signing and composing.Today I live in Stockholm and I am working on my debut album. I am looking forward to see where this trip is going and I hope people will enjoy the music I dos o maybe I, one day can put a reason on a strangers face.
