Main Act was formed in early 2006 by Eric Write and Mecal. In the early stages of the group, rapper Keys also became a member. Before Main Act was formed these three fellows had been making songs together for a few years, but not as a complete unit. They had built a studio in downtown Sala with Show-N-Tell, the Ites and JK. This is where the Main Act foundation was born. They recorded songs under the name "The Odd Fellas", and a few solo tracks as well. After a while the studiorent became an issue and the studio was shut down. This is when Main Act became Main Act.In the beginning, the group worked with a lot of different producers, before finding a sound that would define Main Act.Since day one, the three rappers had pretty much made the same song over and over again. They knew they had to find new people to work with in order to evolve as musicians. One magic night at Sala's renowned nightclub "Hotellet", after drinking a few beers too many, they met up with Flip-Side Productions and decided that they were the men for the job.
9 months later the debut album "Breakin' Point" was completed.[LOVEMYFLASH]
