But as it says in the lyrics to «The revolution dances«, this is music to wake and rise and carry on. It’s not about rage alone but about positive energy, its about dancing with your head high and throwing off the weight that’s burdening. The title of the first output «A light burns in the gate of hope» is evidence to the affirmative approach in playing modern Metal.
BLOOMS OF VANITY try to display their passion for emotional hard music. Every fucking day, with every song and every time they enter a stage. After some years of apprenticeship in the local music scene of their hometown Magdeburg and a few line up changes this band is now settled and a home to four young guys eager to prove they have a lot to say.

Wer Musik ernst nimmt, sie zu einem wesentlichen Bestandteil seines Lebens macht, sich durch Musik immer wieder neu entzünden lässt und zu seinen Lieblingsliedern mitsingt oder heult, der wird verstehen können was Blooms of Vanity antreibt. Es geht ums Herz, aber das heftig! Melodisches Riffing und Breakdowns, abwechselnd cleane Vocals und Screamings. Bei Einflüssen wie In Flames, KSE, Caliban oder auch Enter Shikari bleibt das eben nicht aus! Vorwürfe der Wellenreiterei? Scheiß drauf. Blooms of Vanity machen nicht den krampfhaften Versuch modernen Metal zu revolutionieren. Die Horizonte der vier Jungs sind trotzdem weit genug. Im Sound schimmern alternative Wurzeln durch. 90er Synthies tauchen ebenso auf wie Breakbeats und Samples und geben den Songs nebenbei doch Individualität.
Live wird nicht stillgestanden. Mit Herz dabei sein heißt Spass haben. Blooms of Vanity spielen, singen und schreien sich mit einem Lächeln die Seele aus dem Leib. Positive Antriebskraft. Und wenn heulen dann nicht allein, wenn singen dann alle zusammen. So wie es sich gehört.
