About Me

The Turne, based off of the second stage of the magicians act, takes a more mature approach to aggressive and melodic music. The music is a collaborative approach from each member of the band. Each member inputs his ideas towards the over all creative process while maintaining the musical idea. The mature side comes from the expression we place in the lyrics and in the composition itself. We write music that means something to us and take the time to create vivid soundscapes which compliment the message we wish to express. Regardless of this expressive nature, the music still holds true to its heavy roots in low tunings and thick synth. Diverse musical backgrounds compliment The Turne to provide a variety of feels and styles but ultimately converge on a singular musical voice: The Turne.
