THE HAT MADDER STORY (In Short)
... A runaway train speeding out of control colliding with a
gridlocked traffic jam and all you heard were car stereos turned
up too loud, blaring the evil music of a band called THE HAT
MADDER.

The Hat Madder sound is best described as Garbage Can/Indie/Glam.
Influences have included the likes of Sonic Youth, The Pixies, DEVO,
Shudder to Think, The Afghan Whigs and 90’s indie rock poets Archers
of Loaf. Their loud and energetic live shows have quickly created an
eager fan base. “An audience of zombies, eyes are glazed over as tiny
earth brains struggle to make sense out of the situation. Suddenly
something clicks inside and there is an overwhelming feeling of total
awareness in the room. This is when we know ... the audience is our bitch
and they will do anything we say. That’s why we do it, man, the power.â€
The Hat Madder have just finished thier debut full length
studio album in Tucson, AZ and are planning a tour in support of their
upcoming debut "Friend of the Devil".
