The Xylophones

"The Xylophones" is the name we have chosen to describe participants in a musical experimentation. Our interest is in generating an energy by colliding the articulations of our inmost torments, yearnings, outrages, libidinous frustrations, apathies. The music we create is organic, unbridled, and often unsettling. We want to speculate on the sounds we would hear if we were to leave our bodies. We want to interweave our faults and missteps and deep dark secrets and cowering insecurities and big fucking egos to see what happens. We want to wake the dead. We want to knock unconscious the living. We want to subvert the air by filling it with our utter lack of inhibition. We want to invoke the gods of war and fertility and ask them all our nagging questions. We want people to leave their seats. We want to visit all the places nobody ever gave us enough money to go to with our bodies. We want a release. We want a re-entry. We want to crash and walk away unscathed...........
