About Me

Imagine a cupful of golden age hip-hop mixed with a healthy tablespoon of new school braggadocio. Add a dash of classic soul and shake vigorously until well-blended. The resulting concoction should closely resemble the music of Brooklyn resident Mojo The Cinematic. Born and raised in Spanish Harlem NYC, Mojo The Cinematic has lent his vocal talents to countless songs while also establishing himself as a formidable writing presence in the music game. As a member of the live hip-hop group Dujeous, Mojo has been featured on several albums including X-Ecutioner Rob Swifts LP The Ablist and Dujeous own debut LP City Limits, which managed to garner his crew a significant amount of praise including The Source magazine’s prestigious Unsigned Hype and a spot in URB magazine’s Next 100. His voice has also appeared in several film and television projects over the years as his infectious hooks and distinctive tone have helped to carry him all across the globe. Mojo’s influences range from the Queens cadences of Run DMC to the gritty funk of Sly Stone, with everything from Brit Rock to Crunk sandwiched in between. His versatility is his source of pride, choosing to shrug off people’s notions of what a rap artist should be. With a particular flair for descriptive lyrics, each of his songs is a mini-movie, giving you a glimpse into the mind of The Cinematic. After all he has accomplished as part of a larger group, his success as a solo artist is assured. So sit back, relax and turn your cell phones off. The show is about to start.================================================== TO PURCHASE THE BRAND NEW MIXTAPE, DUJEOUS presents MOJO THE CINEMATIC: THE CINEMATIC ADVANCES VOL. 1, CLICK BELOW!!! ================================================
