About Me

"In a sea of empty press and publicity promises--GLG is like an oasis. Impeccably organized, all the right connections, and suggestions on where and with whom to work your projects (no matter the size)--Ms.Rogers is the best press agent we have worked with in the last five years." --Todd Robinson, Recordhead owner (label home of Guided by Voices' Robert Pollard)
Green Light Go provides publicity and marketing for touring artists, record release parties, and national campaigns. This includes targeting specific media outlets such as daily and weekly newspapers for review, college radio and specialty shows for airplay and on-air appearances, and national press when appropriate. Marketing promotions may be set up at key locations to increase awareness for the artist. This could include local independent record stores, neighborhood bars or coffee shops, and retail locations depending on the style of music. Keeping an artist's budget in mind, only appropriate media representing the artist are targeted to keep down expenses and to achieve a more favorable response.Because of a passion for music we only choose artists to work with who we believe in! This, in turn, gives both the artist and Green Light Go credibility with our press and media outlets. We strive to provide the level of artist development that's necessary to succeed in the music industry today. It's not just about waiting until the record comes out or the band goes on tour. It's about creating and seizing each opportunity to establish awareness and build a loyal fan base to provide longevity for the artist's career. With combined experience of over 30 plus years in the music industry, our diverse backgrounds provide a wealth of experience including working with major record distributors such as Polygram and BMG Distribution; music conferences such as SXSW and Rockrgrl, music publications, radio and independent record retail. Throughout our experience in the music industry we've created over 500 campaigns for artists such as:Ash * Badly Drawn Boy * Belle & Sebastian * Brendan Benson * British Sea Power * The Delays * Dido * John Doe * Elbow * Foo Fighters * Grandaddy * David Gray * Jem * Kasabian * Kent * The Kills * Kings of Leon * Ben Kweller * The Libertines * Longwave * Ray LaMontagne * Mandalay * Johnny Marr * David Mead * Mercury Rev * Moby * My Morning Jacket * Beth Orton * South * Spain * Spiritualized * Stellastarr* * Stereophonics * The Strokes * Sunny Day Real Estate * Matthew Sweet * Tegan & Sara * The Cooper Temple Clause * Treble Charger *The White Stripes * Rachael Yamagata

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Indie bands with a flair for melody. Americana and singer/songwriter with a flair for the melancholy.Who I'd not like to meet: No sense in submitting metal, hardrock, mainstream, pop, blues, jazz, gospel or r&b.
