About me huh? Well, lets see... I'm just a normal guy living a normal life. I'm retired from the Navy. I was a Radioman first class (RM1). Yes, I know that the Navy has combined the Radiomen and Data Processors and made the rate Information Technicians). I retired after 16.7 years of service due to asthma and diabetes. I work full time as a government contractor. I work as a Security Interviewer at the Fort Meade, Maryland MEPS. I am also a volunteer FFI/EMT-B at Odenton VFC, Station 28. My very first fire station I volunteered at was Glen Burnie VFD, Station 33. I live about a mile from the main gate to Ft Meade, Maryland. I live alone with 3 dachshunds: (7 year old female Killian, 7 year old male Tucker, 6 year old male Chance), a cat: (4 year old male Griffin), and a chow chow (2 year old male Canuck). I also have 10 ferrets. Zaphod, Aaron, Shane, Olivia, Ayla, Punk, Zachary, Chyna, Crockett, & Critter. My pets ARE my children. I love them to death. My family is very close. We often joke that we are a very functional/disfunctional family. So, forgive me if I tend to put my family before certain things. I recently lost my father on 02/02/2004 at 5:33pm. He died at peace, at home, with his family around him. He was very close to my one dachshund, Chance. When my Dad passed away, Chance jumped onto the bed and went to my Dad's head and laid there and licked his head. It made me cry like a baby. I really don't have much of a social life.. as I prefer to be driving/riding the Ambulance than going out spending all my money on booze. Becoming an EMT was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. The first was joining the Navy. One thing I take very great pride in, is the fact that people say I am the exact same person online as I am in person.
