ADAGIO830 started in 1997 w/ a small box with records done by friends. I just brought this box to shows that I set up for friends - so everything was a big friendship thing. Hahaha for kids by kids or something like that. I also had nice "countrymusic" club - but we just had 2 members - since country wasnt that popular those days -- hahaha. I still have the first mixtape that got made for the club - just great songs on it!!!
After a while I started buying records from other bigger distributions and made my first small "catalog" w/ my typewriter. But Im still to lazy to do that ... hahaha. so Im really happy that I got the internet connection after years and my own website --- I hated internet in the beginning - but now I think its a great thing ... but if you wanna write real letters you are more then welcome! THANX TO RENE OPERANDI for doing all this HTML schnickschnack for me!!!

the label started around 1999 as a friend asked me if I would like help out to put out a record by his friends and I said YES - so the label was born and our first release has been the COLE QUINTET LP. SO far we released 12 records. Its maybe not much for more then 7 years - but it has always been a question of money, time and music I liked. I just want to put out bands I love or my friends are in. I still try to do everything as much DIY as possible ... doing the cover myself and so on - sometimes this takes longer as it should be - but at the end it mostly looks good :-) And Im satisfied w/ it .. so maybe you are too ...
