ATOMGEVITTER - HIROSHEMO 7"
5 blast of tooth chippin' fast hardcore thrash shenanigans.A six megaton atomic blast to kick start the emocalypse. No one gets out untrashed or unsweaty. If you've worn out the grooves in your DRI and DS-13 records then this is just what you need. Has a 12 page full colour glossy booklet with lyrics, explanations and gratutoius photos of hairy, smelly, semi-naked men holding instruments and being intoxicated. Lyrically Atomgevitter demand that you throw away your crust records in favour of Rising by Rainbow. Sage advice indeed. Buying this slab of wax is also sage advice and will also make your life 100% better.

NACHT UND NEBEL/DE SELBY split CDr
NACHT UND NEBEL offer up more strange rumblings and scrapings and general menace. As always with NUN it's layers upon layers of treated cello. It sounds more like bodies moaning in one of the lower reaches of hell. The sound bubbles as well. For once the DE SELBY stuff sounds (almost) nice. Quite droney and warm. A beat slicer was used to chop the initial sound into tiny tiny little bits. These parts were then reconfigured and played as lots of different 'drum' patterns. Resonant filters and delays and such like were then used to make it sound nicer. The original source material include Carter Family records, pure sine waves and synth noodling on a Korg Monopoly.
This CDr has a full colour sleeve, colour printed CD and a photocopied insert and is £3/$5ppd

DE SELBY - A DAY OFF WORK CDr
The 'concept' behind this CDr is the joy of taking days off work. Not much of a concept I know but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out when all these tracks were made. A fun day off work messing about in audiomulch and reading Robert Anton Wilson books and drinking a hell of a lot of coffee.
The sound was made by making some rather nasty and weird sounding patches for the quite spiffing z3ta+ soft-synth and then running them through a nice setup of ring modulators and resonant filters and a smattering of distortion. Occasionally some pure sine waves or pink noise would be flung into the mix as well. If the mere thought of 'computers' in noise making brings you out in a rash then just pretend i stood in the backyard battering a contact mic'd bathtub whilst naked and covered in jelly. Hope it makes it sound better to you.
This CDr has a full colour sleeve and a colour printed CD (each one different - if you really want you can ask for your name to be on it and suggest a topic for the picture). It's £3/$5ppd

DE SELBY - SEVENS CDr
In quite shocking news De Selby goes 'intelligent' and 'academic'. I'd been messing around with doing some stuff with pure sine waves. A few days later I was reading a nice Stockhausen retrospective in an art magazine. As a side note, why on earth did his passing go almost unnoticed? I'm not sure what's worse, the media not really caring about him or the media shunning him for a single comment made about 9-11. It's hardly surprising that declaring 9-11 to be "the greatest work of art that is possible in the whole cosmos" raised some hackles. Expressing an opinion deemed politically incorrect shouldn't mean a man's lifetime of iconoclastic work should just be completely ignored. I'll stop there before i begin to rant!
Anyway, it mentioned his interest in adding sine waves together and the number 7. Coincidently my audiomulch sine wave creation just happened to use 7 sine waves. A good excuse as any to play with the idea further. It also coinciding with a re-reading of Robert Anton Wilson's thoughts on the 'Law of Fives'. Seven sine waves with a gap of 5hz between them. Spooky.
Some of the results of these experiments were then pitch shifted up or down by 7 steps and layered in multiples of 5.
The results were all quite pleasing to me. Hope you like them too.
Sine waves, maths, Stockhausen, Robert Anton Wilson. I'll admit, it's quite pretentious. Watch out for my 5 CD box set on Raster Noton and my interview in the Wire coming soon!!
Full colour sleeve/printed CDr £3/$5ppd.

UNICORN LOVE - Live At The Brudenell Social Club CDr
It is with much excitement that we announce the latest sound recording to be made available by UNICORN LOVE. Without a doubt they are the most successful Christian noise band in the UK. They’ve been busy with their exhibition at the Tate Modern with Hermann Nitsch recently but decided to release this superb live document to keep their fans happy until the next studio recording (hopefully available prior to their Japanese tour in January). It’s a phenomenal tribute to the life and times of Lord Kitchener (see below) and is a perfect example of Unicorn Love’s genre-defying musical dexterity. No doubt, in years to come, people will rightly declare this release to be a milestone in musical history. It was recorded live at the world famous Brudenell Social Club in Leeds to an ecstatic audience in April 2006.

BLUE STEEL - s/t CDr
For the first time ever this golden gem from the Unicorn Love vinyl archive is made available on CD. Originally released by Mencap Records on vinyl at some point in the 1970s and shrouded in mystery. Try as we might, we have been unable to find out any information about this LP. All we have is the original LP and the knowledge that the music contained on it is absolutely stunning and demands to be heard by a wider audience. Blue Steel give us 11 cover versions (from Beach Boys to traditional songs) and 2 iconoclastic originals. This is the kind of stuff that fans of The Shaggs or Langley Schools Music Project will go absolutely wild for. True outsider music.

SCHMURZ - no.1 Zine and CDr
Half an hour of ear splitting, shrieking synth driven organic noise. 70s synths pitch shifted and distorted into vicious high pitch squeels and thundering bass rumble that will rip your speakers to shreds. Edited down from hours of source material into this one nugget of pure harsh noise. Packaged in a 16 page A5 card handmade unique booklet. First run is limited to 12 due to time constrants of making the excessive packaging.
£5ppd
DE SELBY - Black Earth CDr
23 minutes of ultra harsh noise. Edited down from a days worth of noise making. This is when the machines really began to scream. Vintage analogue synthesizers were made to scream and the results abused with the latest digital treatments. We won't take any responsibility if this CDr damages your speakers. Be warned, some sick frequencies are being thrown out. It'll probably make your nose bleed and teeth shatter too. Comes in simple black and white artwork that's guaranteed porn/serial killer/'wacky' free.No time for negative world views. No time for dayglo hipster pretension. Just harsh noise for the sake of harsh noise. It's £3ppd.
DOLDIS vs DE SELBY CDr
25 minutes/5 tracks of top notch harsh noise and experimental jiggery-pokery. A mail collaboration between two relatively new noise acts from Sweden (Doldis) and England (De Selby). There's plenty of punishing harsh tones and blissed out walls of gaaaarrrrrgggggggghhhhhhspleurk. However, tracks like "Can't Hear The Mourning For The Sound Of Laughter" utilise a techno rhythm track created by programming a Slayer drum pattern and using harsh noise sound loops as the 'drums'. It's more "British Murder Boys" than "Arman Van Helden". Obviously. Other tracks let the synth sounds come to the fore but still with plenty of mush slapped all over it. Comes with a full colour sleeve and an obi.
£3ppd.
