From any journey - whether geographic or imaginative, the most important keepsake is the reminder that people's lives are fortified by family and friends; by our ability to create our lives like creating a piece of poetry or beginning the chapter of a novel. There is and should always be a great and cherished appreciation for life itself and the priceless importance of our connections to one another.

First of all, I’d like to say – contrary to popular belief – there are no villains in this book. There were none in the last book. Please understand that we are all human, and “being” human is not about being perfect. It is about making mistakes along this road we are on. We human beings intersect up life’s highway, and sometimes there’s a bad crash or a fender bender. Other times, we just pass one another late at night on a curvy dark road with the headlights on bright, and our fingers crossed. Carefully observing each passing vehicle, I have passed these people along that thoroughware. I have waved a “hello” and flipped many a bird. “I’m not French,” one fella hollered back. What was that about?
