Heath, fitness and WATER POLO! I have been interested in the wellness industry ever since I can remember. My mom is a registered nurse and my dad is a pharmaceutical executive - growing up in that environment certainly has it's impact on me. However, the retroactive approach to healthcare was not inspiring to me, so I decided to focus on the preventative (wellness) aspects.
EXERCISE, diet, and proper supplementation are essential for a healthy life. Remember that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Think about your car, do you take care of your body the same? (i.e. regular oil changes, filling it with good gas, scheduled maintenance - or are you waiting for it to break?)
Music:
i like a wide array of music...primarily focused on electronic music (house, tribal, hip hop). i can listen to just about anything, but country gets old really quick for me! i like to hang downtown @ Aubergine w/ the DJhere crew - they keep it fresh.
Movies:
sci-fi all the way. i really enjoy movies about technology, the future, as well as historical documentaries. comedy is one of my absolute favorites as well. long drawn out dramas usually don't cut it for me :)
Television:
i don't watch a whole lot of TV, unless it is football season, and then you can find me close to a tube on Sundays and Monday night! That show Lost pisses me off!
Books:
The lord of the rings, catcher in the rye, and almost any dungeons and dragons book. i used to play religiously when i was a kid all the time, and my buddies still make it a point to get together once a year and roll the dice. it is incredible fuel for the imagination!
