About Me

River City uses a plethora of instruments blended to create a sound that is folk and not, soft yet jagged, while pulled and tied together with a somber tone of lyrical honesty for reckless lovers, foolish flames, and one-eyed captains sailing down flooded city streets with friendly choirs of casket wielding, sign waving, banjo plucking poets. Discography...."a fleeting gesture on an otherwise still landscape" (E.P. released in August of 2005 under the name Jon Kruger)....."setting sails and re-routing motion" (Full length released in June of 2006 under the name Jon Kruger). You can purchase a CD at M-Theory Records (on Washington St. in Mission Hills, San Diego, CA.) or by mail. Contact us here for the simple details of mail orders.
