A Gatherin' Storm

About Me

"From the roots of the mountains, we walked to the sea."
A Gatherin' Storm began as a Science Fair project during the ill-fated winter of 2006 (known colloquially as "the starving times" due to a lack of tasty comestibles). In various basements across NE Portland, Jason and Angelique began rehearsing obsolete musical forms with great enthusiasm, but a decidedly abstract agenda. From this awkward interregnum, a vision was manifest, a destiny accepted--We were put here to mediate all disputes and to do so while dancing.
As word of our collaboration spread, various charlatans were observed hovering around our table scraps, searching for a tender, overlooked morsel upon which to gain sustenance and spiritual bulwark. The appetites of these carpetbaggers knew few bounds, and their bony fingers clawed ever closer toward satisfaction.
It was apparent that we needed muscle if we were to defend our interests against the rising tide of modernism. Into this void, a select cast of luminaries has been thrust.
At the present, the rickety ship that is A Gatherin’ Storm also bears the weary frame of ex-pugilist Jared Brannan. It is rather likely that new blood shall be called upon soon.
Victory will be ours. The Storm is Dead, Long Live The Storm! mspmb enableJSURL="false" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal"
