About Me

The most impotant thing you need to know about me is that I sing for Austin Punk Rock N Roll band the SORE LOSERS, #1 on my friends list, so grab a bottle of something and check us out! As for me...I am former lead singer for legendary Boston streetpunk band RAZORWIRE(1992-2000?)--now living in Texas. CHECK OUT my old band RAZORWIRE (the one from Boston) ON MYSPACE!!!! We still play occasionally, in one form or another. 4 outta 7 Razorwire former/present members choose Austin over all other places they could live! Yeah so I finally got this new band with Chris from the PINK SWORDS and original RAZORWIRE geetarist, Juan Bun E Carlos Guittarez from Orange Countys Blockage, and on bass is Brian from HIY BY A CAR and former memeber of Austins OISTERS, rounding out the band on 2nd Geetar is Chad Free from Austins Blown Free. We're called the SORE LOSERS!! We're nothing like the WIRE or the Swords or anybody else for that matter but we rock enough to make any rock fan happy. Just look at the music and people I'm into, you'll get the picture. An overall sound can be described as punk RNR. Anyhow I was born in Boston but I ain't no yankee! I was raised in St. Louis Mo. home of Vintage Vinyl, Ted Drewes Frozen Custard and of course Budweiser. Like everybody else I knew, I hated school, and unlike everybody else always got along with my parents. They let me do pretty much anything I wanted, good for me good for them! So that rebelious teenager shit that everybody else blames for being the start of all their troubles past, present, future doesn't mean anything to me. Yeah there are some bad parents out there, family, friends, schools, etc. but really get a life. Its up to you to fix your life, if it needs fixin, your life is what you make of it. After just getting thru various public and private schools--yeah I was that guy who people thought was kinda weird--fuck everything except...punk rock, Ramones, Pistols--I was focased on nothing else. ASAP I left the nest for Albaquecue (you spell it genius!) New Mexico. It was here where I bought lots of records at Bow Wow and spent many many hours drinking bad coffee at the Frontier, and be drunk at a little club in the barrio, I think called Club Rec?. After a year or so I moved to Boston......where it pretty much sucked and a lot of the people do to. The good about Boston? bars bars bars, and the few /sometimes many I called my friends. Most people in Boston are always pissed off about something--bad weather(I hate snow), traffic, sports(BORING), lack of good pizza(NY will always have ya beat) or for the most part good bands(exceptions being Darkbuster, Tommy and the Terrors and a few other I'll mention later). I moved away once then went back, and in 1999 finally decided I really didn't want to live there ever again! Back to Texas. What I do miss about boston is all the bars (I use to have irish breakfest every sunday) and a lot of friends. I bartended at an old RNR club called Bunrattys(RIP) and then the lengendary Middle East in Cambridge. When not bartending, I spent a lot of time chasing women, drinking, sleeping, and that band thing. MORE TO COME along with lots of editing of what you just read. The last great show I saw was the Black Halos and and Backyard Babies at Emos' during that annoying time known as SXSW. Havn't seen a great streetpunk band here in Austin for a while. I dislike RAP . Nuff said about that. I enjoy movies with lots of gunfire, westurns, war, and gangster flicks and comedies. I yousta drink Bud but if theres a real Coors around (5% alkeyhall).....if I wanna get messed up I drink shots of bourbon--if I want to keep some composure I'll drink Jager or Rumplemintz. Oh and if I want to forget everything green Chartruese. BBQ ,burgers and fries rule although I appreciate good Chinese or pizza, both are hard to get here in Austin. Speaking of Austin heres a list of bands that I might go so see cause they ROCK and probably forget seeing the next morning cause they got me too drunk just for showing up--- the Black Novas, the Pink Swords, the Sons of Hercules, these bands can play great punk RNR and incourage lots of drinking for themselves and everybody else . The Lower Class Brats(by the way Bones is one hellava good bar wrestler) and Charter Bulldogs can RNR pretty good too. If youre in the boston area check out the almighty DARKBUSTER--without a doubt Bostons best punk band--they're amazing--goto their website immeadiatly after trashing my profile but still wanting me as a friend. I also highly recomend from Boston the Fast Actin Fueses, Tommy and the Terrors and the old punk band from Cape Cod MA the Freeze.
