Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Backgrounds at MySpace Toolbox !Reggae Malaya started as a three piece outfit playing in a place called 'Reggae Bar' in Kuala Lumpur.They played there for three months while the band added members and move on to various other pubs, clubs, hotels and entertainment outlets all over the country.Today Reggae Malaya is one of the few reggae bands currently active in this country.The brand of music and sound is very much different from other reggae bands.They have adopted and formulated their own fusion reggae style in their music.Although the repertoire is mainly made up of covers, the band have injected their own arrangement to cater for local crowd.This version of music have gained recognition from the music lovers. Their repertoire is also from Poe's own songs from the various albums that he has produced plus local malay songs adapted into reggae rythym.Reggae Malaya is versatile enough to include Blues, Rock and Jazz numbers in their performance as well. The band is well known in the local music circle by virtue of the gigs and concerts that they have played all over the country and the exposure and experiences of its individual members.
