Tacos Verdes

Tacos Verdes is an acoustic duo playing original songs influenced by 70's funk, classic blues, 60's folk, and of course, Mexican cuisine. Most people like to compare our sound to that of Simon and Garfunkel, probably because we're two guys who play guitar and sing harmonies. Our musical influences are many. We like the classics like The Grateful Dead, Beatles, Leo Kottke and others. We also draw inspiration from the artists of today such as Soulive, Phish, Moe, Strangefolk and many, many more. If you don't like these bands, or have never heard of them, don't be discouraged! My mom has never listened to any of them and she loves our music!
