The Baron Zeta

Since Semptember of '05, The Baron Zeta (formerly Lack of Knowledge) has been playing their own special blend of jam, indie, and funk rock around new york city. With each member's influences rooted in contrasting genres of music, their music is a compositional hybrid of numerous styles. Some call it indie rock, some call them a jamband, some call it "the funk", some may even say that their beards have been known to take one's breath away. All rumors aside, one thing is for sure, The Baron Zeta's music is something different. A typical show explores a multitude of soundscapes, from deep and intricate jams to edgy rock ballads to funky grooves, all weaved together with The Baron Zeta's unique style of playing.
The Baron Zeta recently finished recording with producer Kevin Siwoff in New York City and have 2 rough mixes posted for listening. Other tracks are from a slammin jammin show at the Alphabet Lounge in the Winter of '06. The Baron will be back on the club scene in the fall so stay tuned for gig listings.
