His name is Mr Kelvin Edokpolo a.k.a Reborn.
His aim and dream was to build up a radio station supporting and promoting african musicians and entertaining, supporting and informing africans all over the world,expecially those living abroad.
When he came to Germany almost two years ago after graduating
from London Metropolitan University in 2004/2005 he already knew that this is what he wanted to build up and therefor he went out as a pioneer of Reborn Radio. The love he has for his fellow africans at home and abroad,
African music and media culture had taken preference, believing that
he who laughs last laughs the best and that everything is possible with the help of God and some friends who believe in what he was planning to do.
Since African culture was relatively known in Germany he decided to champion that cause and he soon found some sponsors who were willing to give him a helping hand. After establishing himself as a small scale Internet Radio, he moved ahead with the introduction of a bigger radio station with better sound quality by buying the faster server around to boost sound quality..
Reborn Radio consists of African music, talk show, comedy and news. The
combination of this services enraptures the audience. German and foreign listeners always respond by making online song requests and talking to our DJs thanking us for what we are doing ,encouraging us and telling us that we are making history.
In a country where Africans seldom come together, Reborn Radio is now the No1 station for most African Diasporas around the world and even Germans
listen to the station to learn more about African music and culture. It has been a big success until now for Mr Kelvin Edokpolo ,his crew and all their sponsors
