A Bundle of His was originally formed in 2005 by Lee Blackmore. Born Cardiff, moved to Reading after realising London is not the best place for a musician to live. Blackmore is a singer, guitarist, producer and is the founder, creative force behind this alternative experimental band. ABOH has been a studio project writing and producing music for TV and film from the UK to as far as America and Australia. Wanting to take the music live and to another level he has rammed an eclectic mix of styles and influences to his solo project and by teaming up with Jamie Mead (drummer) and Ben Humphries (bass) a new chapter in A Bundle of His has been created.ABOH takes a slice of influence from rock but with the new additions on board the opportunity to explore many different musical directions and pull together a raft of new ideas is just the start of something big which should propel them onto the music scene both locally and nationally.ABOH proudest momentsMusic released for popular Australian TV comedy show “Pizza†in 2007 and starred in an episode called “The Da Vinci Cupâ€, a parody of the “Da Vinci Codeâ€.Music was also used in an American film “Under the Gun†2008. A crime thriller by an American film director Doug Ferguson.Previously Lee Blackmore has been associated with School for the Gifted , On Trial, Friesian and Stone Baby. More recently becoming the new “Lazywall†guitarist and has just finished recording the new album in Tangier, Morocco. The band are currently getting set to play main stage at the Boulevard Festival Casablanca this year expecting up to 40,000 music fans to attend.Blackmore says “It’s always hard to balance playing in two different bands but it’s twice the fun and it really keeps you on your toes.â€A Bundle of His will also be playing with the new band line-up this summer with a brand new EP to follow.
