*F*L*O*O*D* – Czech stoner rock band, founded in 1998. After playing many live gigs supporting of Czech and foreign bands FLOOD have released promo singl „Flood In The Discount Furniture Mart“ of which „Foreing Soul“ was taken in Rock Hard magazine sampler in 2000 – annual chance for new bands from all over the world (Flood was the first representative of East Europe!). In 2004 the best Czech underground record label REDBLACK releasing official debut „DRIVERA“. This album was quite higly rated in Czech media and took the 1st place of hard rock and metal press publicists enquiry BRITVA 2004 in „Debut Of A Year“ category. FLOOD have made their first video „Blood On The White Wall“ – in premiere presented on TV OCKO in February 2005. Band have met with a good response of abroad fans as well, songs have been presented in Austria and Sweden rock radio stations. Works on the debut album follower began in Jan 2006 and „Closer Than Ever“ was released in June 2006.
