I am here for Friends

About Me

It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, is of a different opinion, it is because they only know their own side of the question. The other party to the comparison knows both sides.

I'm silly... it's too much. I'm brave... sometimes not enough. I'm girly... at times, but not naive. I'm sweet... enough to make you sick. I'm loud... probably more than you like. I'm cheerful... come to me when in need. I'm energetic... it's so crazy. I'm cute... but psycho. I'm annoying... perhaps it'll piss you off. I'm fun... it's even one of my nicknames. I'm outgoing... to the point that it'll bother you. Though, I'm not everything I wish I could be.

Music:

Well my most favorite band is THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS; then I sooo love THE BEATLES. LED ZEPPELIN is great as well. I also really really love AFI, and am desperately in love w/ INCUBUS. BRAND NEW is increasingly superb as well. DEFTONES needs to be on here too.

Movies:

Detroit Rock City, both Fantasias, Fight Club, Forest Gump, Grandma's Boy, The God Who Wasn't There, Kill Bill, Little Miss Sunshine, Lord of the Rings, Old School, both Pirates of the Caribbean, Pulp Fiction, Requiem for a Dream, The SpongeBob Movie, and The Wedding Singer.

Television:

"Many of you have already read my writings identifying TV as the new God.... In previous centuries, the Church was the great controller, dictating morality, stifling free expression and posing as conservator of all great art and music. Today we have television dictating fashions, thoughts, attitudes, objectives as once did the church, using many of the same techniques but doing it so palatably that no one notices. Instead of 'sins' to keep people in line, we have fear of being judged unacceptable by our peers (by not wearing the right running shoes, not drinking the right kind of beer or wearing the wrong kind of deodorant), and fear of imposed insecurity concerning our own identities. Borrowing the Christian sole salvation concept, television tells people that only through exposure to TV can the sins of alienation and ostracism be absolved." -Anton Szandor LaVey (1930-1997)

Books:

Books that give insight, especially to the subject of religion and society. Herman Hesse and Daniel Quinn are probably my most favorite authors so far. I really really like a lot of Shakespeare's stuff as well. Gertrude Stein is a fun poet to read. Mina Loy too. Also enjoy philosophical and religious studies essays/articles.

Heroes:

SpongeBob b/c he is always so happy and friendly all the time! Shannon and Dianne are my idols, so they can be under my heroes list :D. Also, the best teachers at UL... Mr. Dan Cring, Mr. Ian Kinsella, Dr. Jonathan Trigg, Dr. David Barry, and Dr. Keith Korcz... I wanna do it to his knowledge!!!!!!!!!
