Music means a lot to me and has a huge place in my life. I like all kinds of music. Some artists that you may know are. Mojo Nixon, gotta love the rockabilly style. Rev Horton Heat, thats good stuff too. That leads to the real country western stuff. Johnny Cash, Willy Nelson, all kinds of good stuff from them... Then we get new in the country, Junior Brown. Steel gitbox is the shit... and all the songs are pretty funny but probly true somewhere. Been playing in the blue grass realm too. Hayseed Dixie, they remake rock-n-roll songs with that hillybilly twang. Godd stuff, the music is tight and the twist on it is refreshing. Being older then dirt and always listening to music from a young age I like rock-n-roll. Starting back in the fifties and up to now what is considered classic rock. An I was into punk, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, hell even Greenday is punk in my opinion....But that Good Charlet shit suck. We used to callm them kids posers back in the day. Sublime is well,sublime, the music lifts you up and in some cases reflects parts of my life. Late 80's and threw the 90's i was young and found Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Janes Addiction. Love movies, I watch pretty much anything. No real favorite style. Indie films to mainstream. Depending on my mood, I can befound watching sci fi classics to silly ass high on movies. A couple movies i have seen this year are Sin City, Batman Begins Charle and the Chocolate factory, Suspect Zero, White Noise. Those are the movies i have seen in the movie theaters. Jerry, Jerry,Jerry! thats good stuf there. People making ass' out of themselves quality entertainment. Been watching stuff like the Sureal Life and other reality based stuff. Of course that seems to be the mainstay for now. The Cartoon network gets a high vote too. The Adult Swim is something I can dive into. Robot Chicken, Family Guy funny stuff. Comedy Chanel is on my tube a lot, Chapelle, Mensea, Jon Stewart, all funny guys not to mention the other silly stuff there. Gives you a good idea what is going on in the world. I read somewhere that if you watch enough t.v. you would be able to tell the future and if I have learned anything I learned that people have become sheep and swallow anything that they are fed. Heroes:
A hero can be defined as many things. Someone who inspires you. I guess that i have many heros if thats the case. Music inspires me, Primus, Clutch, Tool these seem to be my mental music that plays in my head right now. Henery Rollins is someone that i look up to he is s writer and a actor. Getting his start in the early days with the punk band Black Flag. William S. Burroughs is a smart man, along with Hunter S. Thompson. The writings of these men have made me take a long hard look around me and see what is really going on. Bill Hicks, the man for whom I have an affinity for. He was the true street preacher. Telling people just what he thought and being looked up to for it. He was like the rock star of the comedy world when he was still alive.
