My Interests

I will probably beat you in Scrabble. I love road trips, mostly for the camping and thrift stores. I collect Badtz-Maru. I do lots of improv. I love riding my bike and whitewater rafting. I collect and play old board games. I love hosting dinner parties where people sit down together and eat; then we play "Celebrity" until the wee hours. I write poetry but won't make you read it --I may not even let you. Who are you, anyway?

I root for the Anaheim Angels, the LA Kings, and the Democrats. Results vary.

I'm interested in why people are the way they are and how we can better engage one another. Also, pie.

I'll also confess to Modern Marvels (I will gladly spend an afternoon learning about concrete or a causeway), 24, Baseball Tonight, CSI, Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, The Daily Show, Simpsons, South Park, and The Office.

Lately I've become obsessive about Derren Brown. I had discovered him before he had his show on SciFi, and am glad to see him on American TV.

Books:

The Artist's Way, National Scrabble Association Official Tournament and Club Word List. I don't read novels but I'm a sucker for a good funny personal essay.
