Music Vs Drunk Driving was founded on the basis of promoting an awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. We want kids to understand that while underage drinking may sound cool, and may make you “look†cool, it really doesn’t. We want to show kids and adults that it can hurt people all around you whether you know them or not. We aren’t here to point our fingers, blindly telling you that drinking is bad and no one should do it; alcohol is fine for those of legal age who drink responsibly. Instead, we are here to serve as a source to provide you with information on how to prevent drunk driving and underage drinking.
Music Vs Drunk Driving is here and was founded to engage the power of music in our fight. We want kids to get hooked on music - not alcohol. Music is the key, the message, the story to young kids and adults today. It plays a role in all of our lives, and without music our world would be dull and boring (much like a movie without a soundtrack). Music brings pleasure and vitality, while drunk driving can only promise punishment and pain.
We are currently applying for our Non-Profit status and looking forward to what the future holds for us. We have grown from Southern California to Nationwide and we are now looking over seas to help spread our cause, to provide answers, to teach and to guide people away from getting behind a wheel of car while impaired.
The mission of Music Vs Drunk Driving is to convey to teens and adults this simple message: drinking and driving is not safe.
Community:
To create an opportunity for people of all ages to help save lives by contributing to help keep drunk drivers off the road and to prevent underage drinking. We use their efforts by tying them to something music related or general entertainment related.
Industry:
To give the music industry or related industries the opportunity to show their support in helping fight against drunk driving and underage drinking.
Organizations:
To work with other organizations by helping them reach out to other markets. To educate as many people as we can because we are the future and none of us wants to lose someone to poor judgment.
