I come from Sardinia, I was born in Tempiu Pausania (Galura), but I grew up in Perfugas (Anglona). Then I partly lived in Sardinia and abroad.
I started learning to play the guitar at the age of eleven thanks to my father, who was a guitarist and at the same time a singer of typical Sardinian songs called Cantu loguderesu, and also thanks to my brother–in–law (Antonio Maria Serra), who has always encouraged me in my music studies. Just at this time I first met with flamenco by listening records of Carlos Montoya and Paco de LucÃa.
As I was playing in several bands specialized in Dark, Psychedelic rock, Progresive metal and improving my playing the electrical guitar, I realized that flamenco suited me the best, so I decided to return to flamenco music style.
In 2002 I started to cooperate with Anna Fiori, a flamenco dance teacher, accompanying her in the classes of flamenco held in Sassari (Tatari), Sardinia.
I was a guitarist in Moraluna Band. We organized several concerts, e.g. 4th Year Festivalguér (Alguero, September 2005), we took part in two performances “Planeta Andalucia“ (Montreuil – Paris- April 2005).
In August 2005, during the music festival Time in Jazz, Nugoro (Sardinia), as a flamenco guitarist I accompanied Carmen Cortés in her flamenco course.
I attended different guitar courses.
Since February 2006 I have been living in western Andalusia, in Cadiz province, where I started to cooperate with various artists and dance schools.
At this time I am studying the flamenco guitar at JoaquÃn Villatoro Conservatory in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) and I..m enrolled in the 4th year of the second stage now.
