The 12 Penny Saloon was recognized as the 2006 and 2007 Best Gay & Lesbian Bar by the readers of Electric City Weekly. Committed to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the 12 Penny Saloon is a member of the Rainbow Alliance , an LGBT community development organization.
The 12 Penny Saloon recently was recognized at the annual Rainbow Alliance & GayNEPA.com Dinner as a community leader in furthering Diversity in NEPA.
