i'm really diggin this tech-house thing that London rocks so well; will always love jazz and have a place in my heart (and my booty) for proper, intelligent drum and bass. and a little old shit is nice once in a while to shake it up, perhaps some Genesis or some Neil Diamond... and i never turn down an Arcade Fire concert or a ticket to Led Zeppelin's reunion show! damn there is mos def (like him too) not a lack of music in the UK. lovin it
not really into them. takes too much time out of my short days. however, "This is England" definitely sticks with me. good fucking film. "London to Brighton" is another must see... hey - i am supporting the locals. they definitely deliver raw goodness.
in general, i'm not a fan of tele... i watch the ridiculous UK news which is pure repetitive comedy. in the US, DEXTER is the best show ever! oh, and i have to say that America's Next Top Model makes my Monday nights. British tv sUCKs so bad! not much to choose from. oh andi have to admit my guilty pleasure from watching X Factor!
most recently read The Consolations of Philosophy (again, thx Marco), Middlesex (excellent), "The Kite Runner" (great book), am a regular consultant of the dictionary, and consequently, "The Professor and the Madmen"
